During the past week, we have been through Serantes mountain. Students from the second-cycle did a workshop in English with the help of Iñigo, the nature school workshop manager. They spent the whole morning in the mountains, enjoying nature, working in groups, and making nests of different birds. What a morning we had! They were organized in groups, and each group was assigned to prepare the nest of a sort of bird. The students had the following materials for preparing different nests: wooden boards, screws, and curlers. They had a proper nest building guide at their disposal to find out what they were going to do. On Monday, October 18th, fourth grade students left and on Tuesday, October 19th, third grade. It were sunny days, it was very hot, but we enjoyed being with the class and being surrounded by nature. What nice nests our second-cycle students built! They showed they are great artists.
